Terms of Service
1.What Treatly is
Treatly is a software tool that helps dental practices create simple, patient-friendly explanations of recommended treatment, including approximate indicative costs, shared with patients via a link.
2.What Treatly is not
Treatly is not a fee-quoting or billing system, does not calculate exact health fund rebates, and does not replace the practice's own practice-management or billing software.
All costs shown via Treatly are indicative estimates only, set and controlled by the practice. The practice is solely responsible for confirming exact pricing, rebates, and informed financial consent with the patient.
3.Who owns the data
The practice owns all data it enters into Treatly, including its settings, pricing, and the treatment plans it creates. Treatly acts only as the technology platform; we do not claim ownership of practice or patient data.
4.The practice's responsibilities
By using Treatly, the practice agrees that it:
- ●Has the right to share the information it enters about its patients
- ●Will use Treatly in compliance with applicable Australian privacy and health information laws
- ●Is responsible for the accuracy of all pricing, treatment descriptions, and practice details entered into the platform
- ●Will keep its login credentials secure and not share them inappropriately
5.Accounts and access
Each practice manages its own account and can only access its own data. The practice is responsible for who at their practice has login access.
6.Availability
We aim to keep Treatly available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will make reasonable efforts to notify practices of planned maintenance that may cause downtime.
7.Fees
Starter — Monthly
$79 / month
Billed monthly in advance
Starter — Annual
$799 / year
Billed upfront for the full year
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify the practice and may suspend access to the practice's dashboard after 14 days of non-payment until payment is received. Any patient treatment plan links already shared with patients before suspension will remain accessible to those patients during this period.
Practices may cancel at any time by contacting treatlyau@gmail.com. No partial refunds are provided for the remaining period of a current billing cycle, but no further charges will occur after cancellation.
We may introduce additional plans or adjust pricing in the future, with reasonable notice provided to existing practices before any price change takes effect on their account.
8.Cancellation
A practice may cancel its account at any time by contacting treatlyau@gmail.com. Upon cancellation, data will be retained per our Privacy Policy's retention period and then deleted.
9.Limitation of liability
Treatly is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Treatly is not liable for any clinical decisions, treatment outcomes, or financial discrepancies arising from information entered or displayed via the platform. The practice remains solely responsible for the clinical and financial accuracy of information shared with its patients.
This clause is flagged for solicitor review before being relied on with real patient data at scale. We recommend engaging an Australian solicitor to review this section — many offer a flat fee for small-business document review.
10.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, with reasonable notice to practices for material changes.
11.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
